Summary Of Terms And Conditions

INFORMATION AND RULES, ALL BOAT HIRERS - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. My hire boat is licensed to carry five persons.
2. I will pay for any damage caused to boat and/or motor up to the excess of $500.
3. I will not permit people sit on the front of the bow while the boat is moving.
4. I will not tow boats, persons or boards.
5. I will stay within the limits indicated to me at all times according to the map supplied and go no further than NM from NT coast line.
6. I will not anchor inside main channels. Or other restricted areas
7. I will pay for any items I may lose or damage.
8. I will pay additional costs for returning late, or returning an excessively dirty boat. (Cleaning fee of $100 will apply)
9. I am aware that as an extended period hirer I am responsible for the security of the boat and I am permitted to operate the vessel during daylight hours only.
10. I and my passengers have received instruction on the operation and safety procedures as follows
- Boat operation - tilt motor, start, stop and anchor procedures.
- Safety gear and information on boating rules give way rules and buoyage system.
- Map - out of bound zones.
11. I am aware that drink-driving rules apply while boating.
12. I will abide by all fishing rules and regulations and have received a booklet on NT fishing regulations. I am fully responsible for any breaches and will not hold Hooked up Boat hire responsible.
13. I AGREE THAT THE SAFETY OF THE BOAT AND ALL PERSONS ON BOARD ARE MY RESPONSIBILITY and will not hold Hooked Up Boat Hire liable for any loss, damage or personal injury however caused.
14. I will pay for all fuel used during the hire of the vessel and I have read and understand the above conditions and agree to pay all costs associated.
15. I HAVE BEEN BRIEFED AND UNDERSTAND VESSEL OPERATION, SAFETY PROCEDURES AND LOCAL CONDITIONS AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL CONDITIONS INPOSED BY THE VESSEL OWNER AND BY LAW.

A full list of terms and conditions must be read and signed at time of hire.
